Permanent makeup should not overpower the face. It should belong to it. At Shadés, every decision begins before the needle touches the skin: facial balance, skin behavior, undertone, pigment selection, healed color, lifestyle, and the client’s natural expression are considered together.

Svetlana’s approach comes from three disciplines: dermatology and cosmetology, where she learned to understand skin; fine art, where she trained her eye for proportion, tone, and detail; and permanent makeup, where both forms of knowledge meet in practical, long-lasting work
Before bringing Shadés to California, Svetlana built and led studios in Russia, trained artists, developed her own standards, and worked with clients across brows, lips, eyeliner, scalp micropigmentation, scar camouflage, and areola restoration
